Rigging
For my film, Learning to Play, I modeled and rigged my own characters in Autodesk's Maya. The golfer is a biped rig with IK legs, FK/IK arms, a stretchy spine, and basic facial blendshapes. The dog rig is obviously a quadruped with IK feet (slightly different setups for the front and the rear), an FK/IK switching spine and neck with stretch, and basic FK tails and ears (simple, looked the best). Presented here are two videos showcasing the two rigs functionality. To see these characters animated, check out my film on the Learning to Play (L2P) film page.
